Born in Montreal, Adrian earned her Fine Art degree in Toronto. She has been painting and exhibiting her work since 1980, as well as producing commissioned portraits, murals and public art pieces. She has also delivered guest lectures and conducted art classes & workshops for over 25 years.

Adrian’s paintings have been featured in solo exhibitions as well as in multiple juried shows both nationally & internationally.  With her current work - an exploration of our interdependent relationship with the environment - Adrian is endeavoring to initiate reflection & dialogue on society’s disconnect with nature, and our collective inertia at the prospect of environmental decline.

In recent years, Adrian she has received several government commissions to create public art installations in National capital region. Other career highlights include being selected as artist-in-residence by the Bermuda Masterworks Museum; twice chosen as a finalist in the Kingston Prize for Contemporary Canadian Portraiture; and being commissioned to paint a portrait of Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau.

Adrian’s work has been reviewed in numerous publications as well as on radio and television. Her paintings have also been featured on the covers of several international magazines. Adrian's work can be found in hundreds of public and private collections across Canada, the USA, and abroad.
